The Tie-Dye Quartet was formed in 2005 from a group of like-minded musicians at Aston University.
Since then they have been playing their distinctive blend of jazz & funk - mixing classical, traditional and contemporary styles of music - around clubs, bars and various private functions in Birmingham and the West Midlands.
The band have recently finished recording their first full-length feature - Somnesia - at Aeriel Recording Studios in Carmarthenshire, a preview of which may be found here.
"...a lively mix of jazz/funk fusion, swing and soulful blues, always keeping audiences guessing" - Aston Times, 2008.
